Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo on the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the earliest moments of her life, including attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to Los Angeles during the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. When she converted to Judaism, they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, in 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode and broke the news to fans of the series in an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode premiered on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to a large online audience on social media.
