Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman, the Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of Center for Public Policy Research is at University of California Davis. Her name is often credited for starting the modern scientific study of children's eyewitness memory as well as child victims' witnesses in legal settings. Professor Goodman is a prolific author she has won many prizes and grants. She has advised numerous government bodies and administrations around the world about policies and studies related to way children are treated by the legal system. She has been a consultant with the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center, formerly The Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a former member of various professional associations, which include that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association.
